Caladesi and Honeymoon Islands are just 2 miles away and are two of the most beautiful barrier islands in America. Pristine beaches and undisturbed natural surroundings are open daily. Honeymoon Island is an important nesting site for bald eagles, osprey, and owls. In addition to water sports, the island offers great shelling, bird watching and nature trails. Pinellas Trail - You can walk, skate, jog or bike for miles along the Pinellas Trail; a 37- mile linear park, which runs through downtown Dunedin to the south, or head north to visit other coastal towns and communities along the way. Tarpon Springs is only 8 miles to the north, and is world renowned for its Sponge Docks and authentic Greek Cuisine.

Clearwater Marine Aquarium is just 8 miles south and is a nonprofit, working marine rescue center dedicated to education, research, rescue, rehabilitation and release. The aquarium is open to the public and is home to rescued dolphins, sea turtles, river otters, stingrays, nurse sharks and much more.
