Not only does the Captain's Quarters have plenty of activities and sights right at its backdoor, but there are plenty of the things to do in the surrounding areas. The Dunedin Causeway trail up to Honeymoon Island. There you will find beaches, nature trails, picnic areas, and more. About 3 miles away is Downtown Dunedin where there is a culture that is found nowhere else. It's so unique and vibrant; you can't help but fall in love with it. You will find very unique restaurants, shops, and events.

Tampa is only 20 minutes away and is known for it's nightlife, dining, and shopping. Visit the expansive International Plaza, shop and dine in the Ybor City district, or Hyde Park Village. If you're looking for an action-packed adventure you can drive to Busch Gardens Theme Park, or Adventure Island's Water Park.

If Magic is what you're looking for, then Orlando is about 2 hours east, where you can find Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios.
